Hello Family! I am glad everyone is having fun! This week was full of exchanges! Transfers is this week for some reason! And then next transfer is 7 weeks! So I am not sure what that is all about! I do think I am going to be transferred but we shall see! Sorry I forgot to mention that! Easter we spent it with the Wright Family. They are a newly wed couple that are super awesome and take good care of us. They have fed me here more than any other family on my mission. They have fed me like 7 times?? Probably more than that. They let us watch conference at their home and fed us dinner and it was Brother Wrights Birthday! So That was fun! CONFERENCE WAS AMAZING! I LOVED ALLL OF THE TALKS, But if I had to pick a few I would say Elder Christoffersons, Elder Holland, President Eyrings, and President Packers! I LOVE how the family was the focus this conference! It made me sooo grateful for my family and how lucky I am to have them. Basically my whole mission has made me super grateful for my family and friends! I did get your Easter Package so thank you! Elder Boaz LOVED the Christus statue! Wednesday was Zone Training Meeting and then I went on an Exchange with Elder Taggart from good ol’ Tooele! I FINISHED THE BOOK OF MORMON AND I HAVE STARTED OVER! SO GOAL ACHIEVED! This weeks goal we have made a huge list of people see and places to knock so the goal is to contact ALL OF THEM! THIS PAST WEEK WE ALSO LOST A POTENTIAL INVESTIGATORS DOG! We knocked on their door and they answered and their dog ran out, peed on a tree and ran down the road! And then the person we were there to see ran down the road after it! So We just awkwardly stood there for a while and then ran off after them! haha! We got a return appointment so it was okay! haha! The best thing I ate?! The members make such good food here it’s hard to pick! Sister Wright made Mozzarella Burgers that were super good!
If you haven’t seen this video yet watch it now! Its from helives.mormon.org!
Now that you have seen that video also watch this video!
Both videos leave a powerful testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ and all that he has done for us! This Easter Season I would like you to consider all the things Christ has done for you! I would also like to remind you of some of the things He did for you! Lets go to Alma chapter 7 verses 11-13:
11 And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.
12 And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.
13 Now the Spirit knoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the flesh that he might take upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me.
Christ has done so much more for us that just suffer for our sins. He has felt every pain and affliction that He may better know how to help us! And in turn when we help and aid others He also feels that aid and support (See President Eyring’s General Conference address). I pray that we may all remember all that Christ as done for us and all that is possible #BecauseHeLives! I love you all very much and I love this gospel and I am so beyond grateful for it because it has given me the joy of knowing each and every one of you!
