Gotta Love That Spirit!

HELLOOOOO EVERYONE!!! I hope everyone is well with everyone! WE GET TO GO TO THE TEMPLE TOMORROW! #BESTBIRTHDAYPRESENTEVER!! Yesterday (I know it was Sunday but it was a special circumstance) We went and helped a family pack up to get things ready to move and move things around, (The pictures of me driving the tractor in my white shirt! xP) That was a lot of fun! We spent like 6 hours trying to help them move and we have to go back today to help some more. Which involves riding our bikes 10+ miles again! YAY! bahaha! xP So in one of my personal studies last week, I was writing some letters to catch up because I had fallen behind (yeah I know I know keep reading) and I had this thought “Stop and open up your scriptures.” And I immediately thought to myself ” I will do it later.” Well a little while later I get a similar thought again but this time it is “Stop! And open up your scriptures! I need to show you something!” So I stop, say a prayer for guidance of what I should look for and before I even finish the prayer I get the thought, “Open your Triple Combination.” So I pull it out and open it and it opens up to D&C Section 75 and I read verses 1 through 5 which say:

1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, I who speak even by the voice of my Spirit, even Alpha and Omega, your Lord and your God—

2 Hearken, O ye who have given your names to go forth to proclaim my gospel, and to prune my vineyard.

3 Behold, I say unto you that it is my will that you should go forth and not tarry, neither be idle but labor with your might—

4 Lifting up your voices as with the sound of a trump, proclaiming the truth according to the revelations and commandments which I have given you.

5 And thus, if ye are faithful ye shall be laden with many sheaves, and crowned with honor, and glory, and immortality, and eternal life.

and then I jump down to verses 9 through 12 and read:

9 And let my servant Luke Johnson go with him, and proclaim the things which I have commanded them—

10 Calling on the name of the Lord for the Comforter, which shall teach them all things that are expedient for them—

11 Praying always that they faint not; and inasmuch as they do this, I will be with them even unto the end.

12 Behold, this is the will of the Lord your God concerning you. Even so. Amen.

This experience just hit me like a ton of bricks. Lately I have been really struggling with being bold with people and really helping them because I don’t want to offend anyone or anything bad to happen but then I read these verses and was like “Holy cow!” The Lord promises THREE TIMES that he will be with those who preach the gospel until the end. THREE TIMES! I think He is saying something here. It made me realize that I need to have more confidence in this message I am sharing and that all of these struggles I am having stem from the confidence I have. I mean I KNOW this is the truth but sometimes I lack the confidence in myself and the ability in myself to convey the message in a way that they will accept it! But when we exercise our faith and just open our mouths and talk He WILL be with us until the end! He has promised that 3 TIMES IN ONE SECTION! Anyways that’s what I have learned this week! It was pretty cool! I love you all and I hope you are doing well! I pray for you all daily!
