MIRACLES HAPPEN!

Once and a while if you believe!! (If this part went through your head after you read the title then you win!)

HELLO EVERYONE! How is everyone doing?!?! Good I hope I will just assume you are unless i hear otherwise! This week was a super good week! Amazing how that works! SO! 2 Sundays ago a member introduced us to her mother who had just moved into our area so this last week we began teaching her, and come to find out before she moved she was supposed to be baptized on the 27th of September but she had to suddenly move so she could be baptized. WELL NOW She is getting baptized here! She is still working on moving in so her baptismal date is set for the 7th of December but we are hoping to be able to move it up! She REAAALLLY wants to be sealed to her daughter, which is just awesome! TENDER MERCY OF THE LORD RIGHT HERE! So awesome! We also had interviews with President and Sister Daines. iPads are not coming until after the New Year, but we will be starting facebook here in the next few months! So that will be nice! Oh another miracle time! So Saturday we were doing service and we were helping a member split logs because he was having one of his trees cut down. And so we were using a hydraulic log splitter to split the logs and IT SLIPPED PUT A HOLE THROUGH MY GLOVE ON BOTH SIDES BUT NOT MY HAND!!! LIKE WHAT THE?!?! Yeah we were all just baffled! THE LORD LOOKS OUT FOR HIS MISSIONARIES! So transfers are this week BUT we don’t find out until Wednesday so I don’t know how I will let you know or not. I might send a quick email to say if I am being transferred but if you don’t hear from me then I am staying! How about that?! Things are going better! Thank you for everything! I love you all!

Quick Update!

Hey yall! just wanted to shoot a quick email because I am out of time but this week was a pretty good week! We went to the temple for my birthday which was the best! (well we went the day before but still!) And today we did a Zone Talent show! That was pretty fun too! Over all nothing else too exciting happened! Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! They meant a lot to me! We are working on finding new people to teach! Finding has been rough here! People are not very nice to us at all and no one really wants to talk to us! So prayers would be awesome! I love you all and miss you all!

Gotta Love That Spirit!

HELLOOOOO EVERYONE!!! I hope everyone is well with everyone! WE GET TO GO TO THE TEMPLE TOMORROW! #BESTBIRTHDAYPRESENTEVER!! Yesterday (I know it was Sunday but it was a special circumstance) We went and helped a family pack up to get things ready to move and move things around, (The pictures of me driving the tractor in my white shirt! xP) That was a lot of fun! We spent like 6 hours trying to help them move and we have to go back today to help some more. Which involves riding our bikes 10+ miles again! YAY! bahaha! xP So in one of my personal studies last week, I was writing some letters to catch up because I had fallen behind (yeah I know I know keep reading) and I had this thought “Stop and open up your scriptures.” And I immediately thought to myself ” I will do it later.” Well a little while later I get a similar thought again but this time it is “Stop! And open up your scriptures! I need to show you something!” So I stop, say a prayer for guidance of what I should look for and before I even finish the prayer I get the thought, “Open your Triple Combination.” So I pull it out and open it and it opens up to D&C Section 75 and I read verses 1 through 5 which say:

1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, I who speak even by the voice of my Spirit, even Alpha and Omega, your Lord and your God—

2 Hearken, O ye who have given your names to go forth to proclaim my gospel, and to prune my vineyard.

3 Behold, I say unto you that it is my will that you should go forth and not tarry, neither be idle but labor with your might—

4 Lifting up your voices as with the sound of a trump, proclaiming the truth according to the revelations and commandments which I have given you.

5 And thus, if ye are faithful ye shall be laden with many sheaves, and crowned with honor, and glory, and immortality, and eternal life.

and then I jump down to verses 9 through 12 and read:

9 And let my servant Luke Johnson go with him, and proclaim the things which I have commanded them—

10 Calling on the name of the Lord for the Comforter, which shall teach them all things that are expedient for them—

11 Praying always that they faint not; and inasmuch as they do this, I will be with them even unto the end.

12 Behold, this is the will of the Lord your God concerning you. Even so. Amen.

This experience just hit me like a ton of bricks. Lately I have been really struggling with being bold with people and really helping them because I don’t want to offend anyone or anything bad to happen but then I read these verses and was like “Holy cow!” The Lord promises THREE TIMES that he will be with those who preach the gospel until the end. THREE TIMES! I think He is saying something here. It made me realize that I need to have more confidence in this message I am sharing and that all of these struggles I am having stem from the confidence I have. I mean I KNOW this is the truth but sometimes I lack the confidence in myself and the ability in myself to convey the message in a way that they will accept it! But when we exercise our faith and just open our mouths and talk He WILL be with us until the end! He has promised that 3 TIMES IN ONE SECTION! Anyways that’s what I have learned this week! It was pretty cool! I love you all and I hope you are doing well! I pray for you all daily!

#LDSConf!

Hey there everyone! I hope all is well with everyone at home! Just a reminder my birthday is still coming up on the 15th! 😉 #LettersPlease But seriously For my birthday I would love 2 things from everyone! Number 1! Go out with the missionaries for just 1 hour or so! and teach with them! You WILL NOT REGRET IT! And if you do you can punch me when I get home! xP Number 2! I want everyone to write me their testimony! Either via email or letter! (Thanks TT for the idea!) That would be an awesome birthday gift honestly. Now on to the good stuff!

We watched conference at the church! Spend practically all Saturday and Sunday there! It was really awesome! I LOVED IT! Elder Jorg Klebingat’s talk was definitely my favorite! So good! I took a lot from it and a lot of things that I need to change in my own life! The best part of my week was definitely conference because I was sick all week so we didn’t get to do much. I tried hard not to let it get to me but we would for several hours and we would get back to the apartment and just collapse. But I tried my best! So that was probably the hardest part! OH!!! WE HAD SPECIALIZED TRAINING ON TUESDAY AND WE GOT TO WATCH THE NEW MEET THE MORMONS MOVIE AND OH MY HOLY FETCH IT WAS SOO GOOD! EVERYONE NEEDS TO SEE IT! OH! I need more cookie butter! 😉 We had one lesson with a girl Maria and talked with her about how to feel the spirit! It was a really good lesson! 🙂 A typical day is full of knockin doors honestly. We don’t really have anyone to teach! So the work is REEAAAALLLY SLOW But it has begun to get very cold. We had to bike 10 miles to the church to watch conference and it was like 40 degrees so we froze! But it was alright! It will make for a great homecoming talk! Luckily we got the car (We are sharing a car with another set of elders) so we didnt have to drive home at 10 pm after priesthood session! haha xP But everything is well! I am taking this transfer one day at a time! Things are getting better! 🙂 I love you all and miss you all lots! I hope all is well at home! Love you!

Pictures!

We got a mole in our house!

Getting ready to watch Meet The Mormons with popcorn included!
